Welcome to the UCLA chapter of ZBT, one of the oldest and most influential fraternities at UCLA. The Alpha Rho chapter was founded at UCLA in 1927 and is the only fraternity at UCLA that has remained fully active since its establishment.

Zeta Beta Tau was founded in 1898 on the principles of Intellectual Awareness, Social Responsibility, Integrity, and Brotherly Love. The Alpha Rho chapter stresses these ideals, demanding from all of its brothers the highest standards of achievement rivaled by the best organizations.

The ZBT experience offers more than just fraternity life during college. Active involvement in the fraternity and its indispensable leadership opportunities fosters lasting friendships, networks, and a driven self-confidence geared toward lifelong success.

UCLA is one of the finest academic institutions in the United States and a well-rounded education is our top priority. However, college men cannot be expect to live by the adage, “All work and no play.” ZBT's social calender offers many exciting and unique activites to offset the rigors of essays, exams, and finals.

From buses to all UCLA home football games, to exchanges with all the top sororities, ZBT offers it all, and more. Larger events during the year include our summer river trip on the Kern, the coveted Winter Formal in Palm Springs, and the outrageous spring weekender in Baja.
